Job Description
An excellent, direct hire, opportunity available in Greater Boston! A client of Alexander Technology Group, a global IT Services company, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their rapidly growing customer support team. In addition to an excellent work-life balance, the company promotes within and offers daily catered lunches! 
Responsibilities of this Technical Support Engineer include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting customers; specifically, the IT Admins and key business contacts who implement the client's services
  • Work with the entire US Service Delivery team in order to provide support for both US and Worldwide clientele
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, as well as make recommendations to improve system performance
  • Provide additional training to customers as needed  
Qualifications for this Technical Support Engineer:
  • Hands on experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange
  • Strong working knowledge of internet fundamentals, email delivery, and network routing
  • Experience performing email migrations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
Additional Pluses for this Technical Support Engineer:
  • Email Security knowledge
  • Experience support Barracuda or similar firewalls
  • Backend server exposure (software related)
  • Experience with Cloud technologies
  • Experience working in a Managed Services environment
