Job Description

The Alexander Technology Group is seeking a Helpdesk Support candidate for our Worcester County client.  This Helpdesk Support position is a long term contract with the possibility of permanent hire.  The candidate in this Helpdesk Support role with be responsible for password resets, printer issues, email setup and troubleshooting, networking devices, software installation and troubleshooting, hardware diagnosis, and mobile configuration.  Preferred Skills for this position include:

  • Experience with Windows OS, Apple OS, Active Directory, MS Office Suite, ticketing systems, call center, mobile devices and anti-virus/spyware
  • Experience with desktop, laptop hardware
  • Experience with peripherals such as printers and desk phones
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 2+ years in a Call Center Service Desk environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and access constrained areas such as wiring closets
  • Excellent communication skills including a good telephone manner
