Power BI Reports Developer

Our Seacoast NH client is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support the migration of critical reporting assets from a legacy on-premise EHR system to a modern, cloud-based AthenaOne EHR environment. This role involves reviewing, rebuilding, and optimizing hundreds of SAP BusinessObjects reports—using Power BI. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working with healthcare data, optimizing reporting environments, and building scalable solutions in the cloud. Candidates commutable to Portsmouth, NH for a hybrid work schedule will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate Reports: Convert existing SAP BusinessObjects reports to Power BI.

• Rebuild & Optimize: Redesign or adapt reports to utilize new data models in Snowflake, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and performance.

• Work with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business and clinical users to understand reporting needs, validate outputs, and prioritize work.

• Connect to Snowflake: Establish Power BI connections to the Snowflake Data Lake as the new primary data source.

• SQL Development: Create and maintain complex SQL stored procedures and views to support reporting and analytics.

• Report Consolidation: Assist in retiring redundant reports and consolidating similar outputs into efficient, modern dashboards.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures and views.

• Experience migrating or rebuilding reports from legacy systems.

• Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects or similar enterprise reporting tools.

• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume report migration effort.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with healthcare data or within EHR ecosystems.

• Familiarity with AthenaOne Cloud EHR.

• Experience using Snowflake as a data source for Power BI.
