Data Analyst

Alexander Technology is looking for a Data Analyst (Python, VBA, Excel and PowerPoint).  Our client is revolutionizing technology and building cutting edge software.  They are creating new products to expand into different sectors of the industry, as well as other applications for different industries. 

We're seeking a talented individual to join us on a contract basis, with the potential for long-term engagement or full time (perm) employment if mutually beneficial. Candidates who can work from our Waltham office, on a hybrid schedule, will be required. Responsibilities:

• Develop automated solutions for collecting and organizing datasets, generated by our Engineers, encompassing various file formats such as comma delimited, tab delimited, XML, and Excel.
• Streamline data import processes into Excel workbooks for efficient analysis.
• Design and implement custom applications to import, manipulate, and analyze data, tailored to the specific requirements of our engineering and scientific teams. These applications should also facilitate report generation in PowerPoint.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a data analyst role.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong skills in Python and VBA
• Familiarity with statistics and database management.
