Desktop Support (Holyoke)

JOB SUMMARY

The Alexander Technology Group is working with a respected Managed Service provider near Amherst MA to find a Desktop Support Engineer to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to make a big impact! They are looking for a Desktop Support Administrator who will bring a positive attitude and passion for technology. The Desktop Support Engineer must have 12+ months of applicable corporate IT experience or a college IT internship. 

 

Daily Responsibility include:

  • Support end users in Windows 10, understand basic windows troubleshooting
  • Windows desktop application support
  • Using a ticketing system
  • Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration, basic understanding required
  • Remote management tools 

Technologies desired:

  • Active Directory including password resets, group policy, permissions
  • Office 365 
  • Windows Servers (2012, 2012R2 2016, 2019)
  • VMware
  • VPN setups and troubleshooting
  • SCCM or other Imaging experience
  • Any PowerShell scripting experience is highly desired
  • Great customer service skills
