Software Tester
JOB SUMMARY
Alexander Technology Group is hiring for a Software Tester for a client in the Seacoast Region. The role will be fully onsite. The successful candidate will have experience testing both software and firmware. Desired level of experience is 2+ years. Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities of Software Tester:
- Test software and firmware to detect bugs and performance issues.
- Design and run test cases, scripts, and procedures to verify software against requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and managers to shape testing strategies.
- Perform regression, integration, and system-level testing for software updates.
- Report test results and troubleshoot problems with developers.
- Contribute to the creation of software testing standards and best practices.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in software testing.
- Help support teams resolve customer issues by providing technical guidance.
Required Skills and Experience of Software Tester:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Solid grasp of software development and QA processes.
- Experience in embedded systems testing is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, C/C++).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
