Product Implementation Manager

Alexander Technology Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a new business unit geared towards digital experience.  In this role you will oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate should have prior experience working on building, enhancing, and deploying portal systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of the product lifecycle management (PLM) process, from planning to post-go-live support.
• Partner closely with product owners, IT, business stakeholders, and vendors throughout implementation.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Identify and mitigate risks; maintain risk register and ensure ownership/mitigation activities are tracked.
• Facilitate stage-gate reviews and ensure required documentation is complete.
• Conduct project planning workshops, clarify roles, and support resource planning.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and vendor activities.
• Ensure clear communication of project status via dashboards, documentation, and regular reviews.
• Manage change control processes and escalate issues as needed.
• Support smooth transition to steady-state operations post-implementation.

Qualifications:

• Strong foundation in product lifecycle management (PLM) methodology.
• Current experience with stage-gate required.
• 7+ years of experience in product/program management, ideally within business operations or technology initiatives.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC projects.
• Proven success managing multi-vendor coordination and distributed resources.
• Skilled in budget/resource planning, variance tracking, and financial oversight.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to present to senior stakeholders and lead workshops.
• Strong risk management experience, including creating and maintaining risk registers.
• Familiarity with change control processes and governance.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with product owners and cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) environments.
